01 — Two propositions

Cuerpo Substancia Extendida is structured around two propositions. The first, disambiguation: representations that resist being subordinated to a "symbolic function" or to an "objectifying" gaze.

The second, perception of corporeality — gender representation as a starting point — moving past its external and objective investigation to reveal its subjective dimensions. The exhibition treats the body as a continuous, extended substance rather than a contained surface, and asks what it means to image that body without containing it.

02 — Curatorial

Under the sensorial curatorship of Juci Reis, the exhibition extends the inquiry begun in Esa sombra eres tú into a second register — the body itself as transitory phenomenon, atmosphere, and substance.

Two shores,
one singularity.

Across the courtyard from the main gallery, Espacio T1 housed Singularidad — India as a continuous loop accompanied by stills from the series. The same film projected within T3 played here in install configuration — duration in place of event.

Singularidad — water-surface debris, India and Oakland
